Ok, so I just wanted to make this quick post to wish myself a Happy Birthday (totally not tacky or anything)!

I turn 17 today, which is kind of sad and happy for me. Happy because it is my birthday and I get to live another day, and sad because there are certain people that have passed and cannot celebrate this day with me. Nonetheless, I am just going to keep moving forward and live life to the fullest. I am probably not going to be home much today, so I wanted to post this really quick (in all it’s tackiness glory).

Sorry to be super late with this guys, but I finally added the digital photos from WSU’s Breaking Barriers 2 iPPV that was held on November 19th. If you don’t remember (but of course you do), it was Melina’s debut for WSU and she faced Lexxus. There are 50+ HQ photos that were added, so be sure to check them out by clicking the banner below.

TNA Knockout, Mickie James recently did an interview with Captiol FM Arena, where fans sent in questions for Mickie to answer, and in one of the questions Melina was brought up. Check out what Mickie had to say:

What are your thoughts on Melina Perez?
I think she’s beautiful and an incredible talent. She has a huge following because her talent stands for itself. She’s innovative and unique. She showed you could go from a character seen as a manager and more than just an arm piece to a phenomenal champion. She also showed first hand it all begins with making an entrance. One of the best in the business.

Hey everyone, just wanted to make a quick post to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! This would have been up sooner, but the site was down do to a server issue, but all is fixed now.

Former WWE Ring Announcer, Lilian Garcia announced on Twitter last night that Melina will be a special guest on AfterBuzz TV for Monday Night Raw! Lilian tweeted the following:

Very excited to announce that @RealMelina will be our special in studio guest on @afterbuzztv tomro nite 4 WWE #Raw on #Ustream!

The show starts at 11:15 PM, right after RAW goes off the air. We will be sure to embed the video on the site for everyone to watch if you can’t find the link.

Welcome back to the site guys! Like the new look? I really hope you do. I definitely wanted to go for a more simple and professional direction with the site this time around. I have been in the fansite game for a long time now and you know, you have to shake things up once in a while, so instead of going the traditional route and getting a custom theme/design from a designer, why not work with what is being provided for you? It is actually a better route, because it helps the site load so much faster and the visitors can quickly get to what they came to visit the site for in the first place, the news. I honestly think it makes the site look so much cleaner and organized. Hopefully you like it, because it will probably be up for a while.

Now onto the reason the site was down. First, let me just say that I love Melina with all my heart and MHQ is my baby, something that I treasure everyday I get to work on it. However, there was a point, before the site went down, where I was asking myself if I really wanted to continue with it. It is not that I was losing passion for the site and it isn’t that I was becoming less of a fan of Melina, but it was just that I didn’t feel like I was giving the site my all. I didn’t feel like I was doing enough, which is completely normal in the fansite world, but something I didn’t want to start feeling with MHQ. So, I shook those thoughts away and knew exactly what I was going to do. I was going to revamp the site, bring it back to life, and keep it going. That is exactly what I did. I went through the entire main site and updated dead pages, just bringing a new life into the site. Doing it actually reminded me why I love this site so much. Above everything else, this is something that I am so proud of and can gladly say is mine. Ok, enough of me babbling. Just so you know, I am still going through the site, doing double checks to make sure everything is good and fixing any mistakes I find. I am going to go organize and update the gallery next, so just be aware if you start seeing weird happenings over there.

Also, Melina and Shirlz posted a new photoshoot over on RealMelina.com last week. The photoshoot, which we have seen a preview of before via Melina’s Twitter, is amazing! Melina looks beautiful in each shot, but that isn’t really surprising. Again, I still don’t know if we are allowed to post the photos on the site and I do promise I will talk to Melina about that matter soon, but there is nothing wrong with checking out the photos on RM, which you can do by clicking the banner below.

Melina will be taking part in an upcoming autograph signing for Frank & Son Collectible Show with former WWE Divas Candice Michelle, Torrie Wilson, and Maria Kanellis. Also taking part is current TNA/iMPACT Wrestling Knockout, Traci Brooks.

The signing is on December 17th between 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Happy Halloween guys! I am a huge fan of Halloween because I get to watch tons of horror movies and eat some (not much) candy. I get to see my little cousin, nieces, and nephew all dressed up. They always are creative with what they want to be and my aunt/mom/sister always make it happen. Reminds me of when I was younger, I went all out for Halloween. Everything had to be different. I’d find out what my friends were being and then I’d do something completely original and.. a little better. One time I went as far as spray painting my hair color 5 different colors. I forgot what I was that year, but I remember the spray paint, mainly because it was a little hard to get out. Halloween is also great for us MELinquents, because Melina is always sure to give us something great. So what did she give us this year?
