For those of you that don’t know, there is a new theme on our icon section, .iCONIC!

The last theme was up on the section for a while, so I thought it was time for a change. I gotta say, I am loving the new look. It’s something fresh and it a lot more easy to look at! I also separated the icons by categories. You can still look at all the icons on the main page, but you now have the option to look at just the photoshoot icons or just the wrestling icons, I thought that would be a nice touch!

Along with the new theme and features, two more categories will be added soon. Icon Bases and Twitter Icons! The bases will be unedited 100×100 icons for those who want to add their own effects to the icon and make it their own. The Twitter Icons will be for use on Twitter, since the 100×100 icons don’t really work well. I’m not sure when these new categories will be accessible on .iCONIC, but it’ll be very soon!

Lately, WWE.COM has been adding a lot of new features to their still freshly new designed website. Their latest addition is a countdown of the greatest tag teams in WWE history. You can’t have that sort of list without including one of the fastest rising tag teams in WWE history, MNM! MNM placed at #34 for on the list, surely they could have been higher, but we’ll take it! Read below to see what WWE had to say about the trio:

#34 – MNM

When Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro (later John Morrison) made their first appearance on SmackDown by strutting down a red carpet to the ring, they had the confidence and allure of stars. It didn’t take long for them to back up that perception of celebrity as they won the WWE Tag Team Championship only two weeks later. Flanked by the raven-haired Melina and swarmed by paparazzi flashbulbs, the team held the titles on two additional occasions.

Defeating pairings including The Legion of Doom and former World Heavyweight Champions Batista and Rey Mysterio, MNM proved themselves a cohesive unit capable of competing with any Superstars on the WWE roster. For a sustained period, the road to SmackDown tag team dominance went through Mercury and Nitro. If it was their extravagant outfits and Melina’s flexibility that drew your eyes to MNM, it was their undeniable skill that retained your focus. — Z.L.

This June, Melina will be reviving one of her best WWE feuds with long-time rival, Mickie James.

Melina and Mickie are set to take on each other on Saturday, June 30th, for WWC’s Anniversary 2012 event at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. This is sure to be an exciting match, given the chemistry between these two in their WWE days.

There are two other events being held that weekend, but it is not known if Melina will be competing at them. We’ll keep you updated on that information.

FWE (Family Wrestling Entertainment) has released details about their next show and it will feature Melina! On April 28th, Melina will take on TNA Knockout, Winter for the FWE Women’s Championship. Former and legendary WWE Diva, Lita will serve as the special guest referee for the match.

The entire line up sounds amazing and we cannot wait to see this match. Definitely one for the books! You can more information below:

The gallery is undoubtedly the most popular part of the site, so the domain is coming in at an amazing time.

I really have to thank my amazing friend Devin for buying the domain, he is awesome! I also have to thank Lindsay for not only hosting the gallery, but for transferring the whole thing over to the domain (which took 2 days, by the way)! I am so happy and excited about this and I hope you guys are too! I am going to be working on the gallery extensively, so be on the look out for new images coming your way. We have launched our official birthday project for Melina, who is turning 33 this Friday (March 9th)! Yes, we know it is a little last minute, but we HAD to do something for Melina’s birthday, she truly deserves it!

The project was designed by my good friend, Govind. Thank you Govind, you seriously came through for me and the site. There are only a few birthday wishes up right now, but hopefully you guys will keep sending them in! We’re going to be accepting messages until 11:00 PM (EST) on Friday. After that, no more messages will be accepted. We will then proceed to send the project to Melina, who will hopefully read all of your sweet messages.
