Shirlz and Melina really know how to spoil us MELinquents, don’t they?

Just after released one photoshoot, they released another! This photoshoot, entitled “Time Warp”, shows Melina like we’ve never seen her before! Melina and Shirlz were nice enough to treat us MELinquents to a new photoshoot on RM entitled “Dancing Through Life,” which has 8 shots in total.

If you didn’t know, WWE Diva Rosa Mendes led her boys, Primo and Epico, to tag team gold tonight at a live event in Oakland, California. She was so happy, as she should be, that she posted photos of herself with the titles to her Twitter account. But wait… that reminds us of someone. Oh, that’s right! It reminds of us our girl, Melina!

Okay, so it isn’t exactly the same. When Melina led her boys, Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury (also known as MNM), to tag team gold, Twitter wasn’t even heard of. But, she did do a very interesting photoshoot with her boy’s tag team titles. So, that still counts…. right? Of course it does!

While we are extremely happy for Rosa and her boys, we can’t help but think.. Who Did It Better? That’s where you guys come in, we want your opinions! Did Melina “wear” her boy’s gold with pride? Or did that kiss Rosa gave to the title give her a little luck? You decide! Check out the photos together in our special little gallery below, then vote in the poll afterwards.

2011 was a really good year for me personally. It had it’s ups and downs, but doesn’t every year? 2011 was definitely a changing point for me. My opinions and outlook on things and people alike changed drastically. One thing I realized is how grateful I am to still be running MHQ and to just still be alive. For MHQ, 2011 was amazing! It marked the year we had our first anniversary (among other amazing things) and now we are moving into 2012, gearing up for our second!

2012 is definitely going to be even better year for us. There are so many projects that I have lined up and I cannot wait to reveal them ALL to you! If you’re unsure how you feel about going into 2012, just remember that no matter what happens, just be grateful that you get to see this very moment. Nothing is guaranteed, not even a tomorrow, so make sure you make every moment last! Goodnight everyone, be safe and have fun!

If you didn’t know already, yesterday we launched our brand new media icon section, .iCONIC!

For the past few weeks, I’ve been wanting to do something with the media section. It was without a doubt the least updated part of the site and I wanted to refresh it. Really, all that was in the media section were icons, so I thought it would be good to just get rid of everything else and just do an icon section only. I brainstormed, came up with ideas on how I wanted it to look, a name for it, and went to work. I stayed up all night to get it done and by morning, I had it completed with only little things needing to be added. I am very proud of it, it is original, unique, and simple… all the things I was trying to accomplish. I hope you all like it!

Along with the new section, I’ve added over 120+ new icons thanks to Luis and Linda. Also there are some of the icons that were apart of the former media section. More will be added soon, I promise not to abandon the media this time around! Enjoy!

Never thought you’d be seeing that kind of post title on the site again, did you?

Neither did I, but the holiday season has made WWE feel a little generous, as they uploaded some Melina photos to the site along with some photos of other past Divas. Divas of Christmas Past, they call it. Now, the photos of Melina obviously aren’t new, as you can tell by her MNM-era hair style. The photos are actually from 2005 (if you didn’t know) and were shot for their SmackDown! Holiday 2005 magazine.

The three photos they uploaded, however, are all unreleased shots and in much better quality then the ones we got in 2005.

Well, what a great present for the holiday season from WWE. WWE, if you have anymore, don’t be afraid to release them… what could it hurt?

Thanks to my good friend Danni, we now have rare scans of Melina from PWI’s Women of Wrestling Fall 2004 Issue. The magazine was released when Melina was still in OVW, so the photos used in the scans are very old.

A site visitor and a twitter-friend of mine, Manny, was nice enough to send in his candids and brief description of his experience meeting Melina once again, this past Saturday. Here is what he had to say:

I had such a great time with Melina. I gotta say, I never get tired of meeting Melina. It’s always a great, fun experience to just talk with her and hang out. Me, my friends, and Melina laugh so much; my cheeks still hurt today. I had bought her 2 small gifts and 1 big one for Christmas, even if it wasn’t Christmas, I would have still gotten her something to show how much I appreciate everything she has done for all of us. She deserves the best in life. She’s beautiful outside, as well as inside. I had gotten her some Wonder Woman items, as you can tell from the pictures. I took a few photos when she was opening it, she was so adorable! There’s one picture of her with a Snuggie that my friend got her. We were the first people to get exclusive pics with her, she looked so cute! Gotta love her personality, Melina is such a sweetheart. That is the reason why I look up to her so much and adore everything about her. She mentioned that we made her Christmas special, well I think she made mine special. I will never forget December 17, 2011.

Thank you Manny for sending in the photos and your experience. You’re such an amazing person and I am so glad you had fun! Here is to hoping you have many more encounters with Melina!
