This was our very first layout that was on the site, designed by my good friend, Kim. It was actually one of my favorites that we had, mainly because I loved the look and feel of it. The coding just added to it, thanks another good friend on mine, Steph. If you didn’t get to see it on the site, you seriously missed out. A fun little fact on this layout is that the photoshoot I used, was actually a mistake. I had another photoshoot in mind and thought I sent the link to that one, but this one is the one I actually sent. I didn’t know how it was going to turn out, but I am actually very happy how it turned out and in my opinion, it might have turned out better then it would have if the other photoshoot was used. Who knows? Maybe we will bring it back in the future to show all the new fans the start of MHQ.

Our second layout was again designed by Kim and coded by Steph. I honestly love this layout, but not everyone did. During our first months, we had a majority of dark layouts. I didn’t see a problem with it, but some others did. It didn’t really matter though, because this one was actually a big hit. It was based off a previous design that Kim did, that I really loved. She actually thought she could do something with those specific photos, so I let her do her magic. When I got the layout, I was so excited to get it up on the site. It lasted up on the site for quite a bit. I don’t know if it will ever be back up on the site, but never say never. We might just take a trip down memory lane.

Our third layout and our first designed by Dax Studios! I cannot explain how excited I was when this went up. It was paid for by my good friend Danni and I was absolutely in love with the photoshoot used. When I was telling Cristy how I wanted it to look, I told her I wanted it to be different from anything the site has and what majority of sites had at that time. Cristy is amazing at being different with her designs, each one has a different taste and each one is amazing. This one was no exception. It was actually up for a really long time, probably the longest look we ever had up. Did we also mention it had FLASH?! Cristy specializes in flash animation for her designs and it was included in this one. It really brought the already amazing design alive. Definitely one of my top favorites!

Now onto our fourth layout, this one has a lot of titles. It was my FAVORITE layout we have ever had, it was our initial one year anniversary layout, and without a doubt, it was our most controversial layout. It was designed and coded by Cristy, that became a trend for MHQ, and it was just amazing. I loved everything about it. The coding, the design, the pictures… everything was just great. When it was put up (on MHQ’s birthday)… drama immediately ensued. Of course it settled down, but I was amazed it was all over this. Sad to say, this one didn’t last very long. Melina was released from WWE and because it promoted her as a WWE Diva, I couldn’t use it anymore. The sad thing is the layout had flash included, so I could not get it re-done. It will always be one of my favorite layouts we have ever had, because it just looked so professional and it was the look I was going for. I couldn’t have asked for a better layout and while it wasn’t up long, I don’t regret ever having it, nor the drama it came with.

Our fifth layout. This one was actually an alternative one year anniversary layout, but I still love it nonetheless. When I ordered it, I was just going for a similar style as the our fourth layout, but changed my mind because I don’t want any of our layouts to be to similar to each other. I believe everything happens for a reason, so we were not meant to use the fourth layout for some reason, so this needs to be it’s own. While I was bummed we couldn’t keep up the fourth version, I fell in love with this one when I received it from Cristy. It was unique and fit the site to a T. The design was amazing, the coding was unique, and I just loved it all. This one was a back up, but turned out to be one of my favorites. Could it ever come back? Maybe, I never say never.

This is our sixth and current layout. You know, there comes a time when things HAVE to change. You have to do what you have to do and this layout will always symbolize that for me. After a little decision making, I decided to do a full site revamp. I wanted to go back to the site’s roots and start fresh. I felt like I was losing motivation for the site and I hated that feeling. A revamp would surely put me back on track and I was right (which is unusual). I went searching for the perfect look for a site re-launch. Something that would breathe new life into the site. When I found this theme, I knew it was going to be the one that brought the site back. Not only bring the site back, but bring my motivation along with it. I just love it, I mean… there is nothing not to love. It is simple and professional, but still gets it’s intended purpose done.
